Windrift Dogs
All of my Spaniels are trained to the level of finished gun dogs. That is, they are steady to wing and shot, retrieve kindly to hand, hunt all forms of cover and handle to blind retrieves on land and water. A dog has to meet my expectations in the hunting field before I breed them.
SQUARECLOSE TAMMI, "Tammi"
(Squareclose Metz X Whitehope Serotina):

Tammi is an experienced, stylish, hardworking bitch that hunts close with a natural quartering pattern. She always keeps "in touch" with the handler. Her ground treatment is very thorough and she is fearless in any cover. She retrieves to hand on land and water, handles well on blinds and is very good on runners. Her mouth is 100% sound.
She has been hunted on pheasant, grouse, woodcock, rabbits and quail—being a very competent game finder on all species. She is steady to flush and shot, very easy to handle and probably the most honest spaniel I own. She was imported from Scotland in 2004. Looking at her pedigree you will see 5 U.K. and Irish Championship Winners in the first 3 generations. She is PennHip, CERF, and PFK normal.
Tammi was bred to Fergus, producing ten pups whelped on May 29th. See more information, here.
RAYKAR BRIGAND "Fergus"
(FTC Nant-Y-Bwla Ricky x Raykar Raffle)
Fergus was imported from England in 2007. His father is a well known producer of trial spaniels and solid working dogs in the U.K.
Fergus is a very promising young dog that shows great enthusiasm when working, yet remains easy to handle due to his honesty, kindness and desire to please. He hunts close with a natural quartering pattern and will face any cover. He is a natural retriever on land and water and delivers kindly to hand.
He is PennHip, CERF, and PFK Normal. Fergus is available for stud to approved bitches. Fegus's Pedigree
SQUARECLOSE CARLOS "Finn"
(Int. FTC Hattonswood Broc X Edwardiana Gigi)
Finn was imported from Scotland in January of 2008. His Father gained his FTC in both Ireland and the U.K. Broc also won the 2006/2007 Irish Spaniel Championship. His offspring are begining to prove themselves in the working and trialing arenas in the U.K. Finn's mother is just starting her trialing career in Scotland and is showing great promise. She comes from one of the prominent kennels in the U.K., with both her parents being FTCs. Finn's great grandmother, grandfather, father and now his half sister (who won in 2008) have all won the Irish Field Trial Championship for Spaniels. Four generations in a row of Championship winners.
Finn is a very intellegent, affectionate, attentive and biddable dog. He is what the Irish describe as a "complete package dog - fast and drivey in his hunting, able to find game and put it in the bag." He hunts with a natural quartering pattern and is always in touch with the handler. His enthusiam for retrieving is completely instinctive and he is equally as good on marked or blind retrieves on land or water, and retrieves kindly to hand. Finn is a delight to work with. He is fun loving around the house, but all business in the field. He is very level headed even in the hottest of situations. Finn's Pedigree
