The N.O.H.S. Class of 1966 45th Reunion of our High School Graduation was held on November 26, 2011 at The Majestic Theater in Gettysburg, PA.
28 Classmates along with their spouses and guests, including 6 of our teachers attended our 45th Class Reunion.
The Altland House of Abbottstown catered our wonderful meal.
Many out-bursts of laughter resulted from the much enjoyed game that was conducted by our very own Jeff Baker! The game was called “Are You Smarter Than a 1966 Classmate”. This was Marti’s idea and the details were worked out by Marti and Jeff. Good job!
All who attended had a GREAT time and the ones who couldn't make it were missed!
Make plans to attend our 50th which will be here before you know it!
Also . . . please join the planning committee for the 50th. ALL Classmates are welcome and encouraged to help. These planning meetings are always a lot of fun!

Our class got off to a slow start with this Reunion business!
We waited eight years to make plans for our first one.

The N.O.H.S. Class of 1966 8th Reunion of our High School Graduation was held on May 25, 1974 at the home of our Class President (Barbie Paxton).
This Reunion was a family picnic. A total of 56 people
attended, made up of Classmates, Spouses and Children.

We played softball and volleyball.

Class of 1966 - 10th Reunion

Well . . . we all enjoyed the family picnic we had for our 8th Reunion so much, that we decided to go ahead and have another for our 10th!

The N.O.H.S. Class of 1966 10th Reunion of our High School Graduation
was held on June 20, 1976 at the home of our Class President (Barbie Paxton).
Barbie . . . we promise to get more creative for our 15th!
Again our family picnic was attended by Classmates, Spouses and Children.

Some new faces this time around in addition to many from the 8th Reunion, added up to a grand total of 65 people. The activities again were softball and volleyball.

Class of 1966-15th Reunion

So . . . we finally got away from the family picnic format!
The N.O.H.S. Class of 1966 15th Reunion of our High School Graduation
was held on October 3, 1981 at Frock's Sunny Brook Farm in Westminster, MD.
A great time was had by the 40 people who attended this Reunion.
We enjoyed a good dinner and then we danced to music provided by a DJ.
We also did some square dancing with Mrs. Hankle calling!
Our evening had a somewhat unusual twist! In another part of the same building,

Class of 1966-20th Reunion

You have now arrived at our 20th Reunion! WOW! 20 years just zipped on bye!
The N.O.H.S. Class of 1966 20th Reunion of our High School Graduation was held on November 28, 1986 at York Valley Inn located in York, PA.

The turnout was great! We had (38) Classmates (27) Spouses and friends.
Mrs. Hankle and Mr. Kemp were also present for a total of (67).
Many Classmates stayed overnight at York valley Inn. We used two joining rooms for a
hospitality room that was visited by classmates before and after the evenings festivities.
Some classmates partied in the hospitality room until 5 A.M. We had a ball!

We all enjoyed a buffet style dinner. After dinner, we had a class meeting
and then dancing to a D.J. from 9 P.M. until 1 A.M. Photo

Class of 1966-25th Reunion

Silver Reunion that's right 25 years! The N.O.H.S. Class of 1966 25th Reunion of our High School Graduation was held on August 24, 25, 1991 in Annapolis, MD.

We decided to take a trip to Annapolis, MD. for an overnight visit.
We had (34) total people attend this reunion. We met at our High School
on Saturday morning for a group picture and meet the bus.
Once in Annapolis, we started by taking a boat tour.
We always said we should go on a cruise for our 25th!
After the cruise, there was free time to shop, tour and of course eat lunch.
Next we got back on the bus and went to our motel. At the motel we
had a hospitality room where most classmates visited several times to have some talks over old times gone bye and to have some fun. After socializing for a few hours, we
got back on the bus and went to Busch's Restaurant for a buffet dinner.
After dinner, we returned to the motel for more fun in the hospitality room.
Sunday morning we ate breakfast in the motel restaurant prior to
loading the bus and returning to NOHS around 2:00 P.M. Photo

Class of 1966-30th Reunion

Here we are at the 30th Reunion! The N.O.H.S. Class of 1966 30th Reunion of our High School Graduation was held on September 28, 1996 at The Altland House in Abbottstown, PA.

Attending were (21) Classmates and (15) Spouses for a total of (36).
We enjoyed a very nice dinner!
During the evening, we were entertained by D. J. Brian Shaffer.
We all had a good time with some trivia questions, we called this "stump the classmate".
We also gave out some awards for classmates attending.
The awards were tallest, shortest, most grand children, retired the longest, who traveled the longest distance to attend the 30th, and etc.
A great time was had by all attending!

Class of 1966-35th Reunion

The N.O.H.S. Class of 1966 35th Reunion of our High School Graduation
was celebrated on October 19, 20, 21, 2001.

A few of us started on Friday evening by attending
New Oxford's home coming football game.
Then on Saturday morning we all met at our High School.
There we were joined by some of our teachers:
Mrs. Hankle, Mr. Millar, Mr. Diviney, Mr. Watkins, Mr. Shupp, Mr. Stoner, Mr. Colgan.
We all enjoyed this very special reunion of teachers and students!
We had a continental breakfast in the lobby of the High School, talked over old times,
took some pictures, and then were given a tour of the High School
by Mr. Trimmer, the current principle.
Next . . . your classmates boarded a chartered bus
and headed for Atlantic City, NJ for an overnight stay.
Along on the bus trip were (19) Classmates (12) Spouses
and (4) others for a total of (35) fun seeking travelers!
In Atlantic City, the weather was beautiful, more like summer than fall!
Saturday evening we enjoyed a nice dinner in the
Premier Room in our Hotel (The Resorts).
We did some gambling, shopping, talking, walking,
and just relaxing with some classmates on the boardwalk.
On the bus to and from Atlantic City, we had a lot of fun
playing some oldies games, talking about the past,
and making plans for our future Reunions.

Class of 1966 - 40th Reunion

The N.O.H.S. Class of 1966 40th Reunion of our High School Graduation was held on July 22, 2006 at Penn National Resorts (Trellis Terrace Pavilion) located in Fayetteville, PA.

38 Classmates with their spouses and guests, including 7 of our teachers attended our 40th Class Reunion on this VERY hot summer day near Chambersburg, PA.

The Altland House of Abbottstown catered our wonderful meal.

A Texas-Hold-Um game was held and Classmate Gary Landis was the winner.

Several trivia games were played and the winning team received their very own Kazoo as a prize! And then they were brought up to the stage to perform our School Alma Mater directed by none other than our personal band director Mr. Donald Kemp!

Many of the teachers took to the podium to say a few words to the group, which was highlighted by a wonderful made-up story by Mr. William Millar. He read his creative work with a great deal of color and enthusiasm!

All who attended had a good time and the ones who couldn't make it were missed! Photo
