Family photos & News from Classmates

Updates:

from Craig Breighner: (1)   My eldest son, Chris, and his [relatively] new bride Saba have purchased a house in Allen, TX, a suburb of Dallas.  He is an accountant at Federal Express in  Dallas and she is the manager of an "On the Border" restaurant near their home.

(2)   Second son Ryan is a post-doctoral fellow at the Mayo Clinic and, although an authority on non-impact ACL injuries, has moved from knees to hands and is involved in some computer modelling of muscular-skeletal-nerve function involved in wrist rotation, etc.

(3)   Third son Mike has taken a job (as of Feburary) with Outcast Media, in Chicago, where he is a media sales coordinator.  He lives about to blocks from Wrigley Field and often walks to ball games and other nearby attractions.  Obviously, he's also very near the lake, where he enjoys using the kayak he previously purchased to paddle on Town Lake, in Austin.  He was the ONE (of 30 applicants) to get this job, but is really interested in copy writing and, as a creative advertising major who graduated in December with high honors, is probably feeling somewhat underemployed, if not underpaid, at the moment.  I expect he might be putting out some feelers around the six month mark.  Chicago is just too brisk a job market in advertising for good people to let the grass grow under their feet, you know?

This was taken in Sept. 2009. My grandkids left to right are Mya Kristene (10 months) being held by Marley Reighanne (9),Adam David (2 1/2), I'm holding Trey Alexander (3 months), in the back Zachary Warren (11), Ella Renee (7), and Abigail Elizabeth (Abby-Beth) also 7years old.

Mya & Adam are the children of my son Tod and his wife Jenn. Zach and Abby-Beth are the children of my daughter Kimberly and her husband Mark Heininger. Marley, Ella and little Trey belong to my elder daughter Angela and her husband Ray Bradner.

I'm pretty sure this will be the full crop of grandkids for us, but my Sons wife stated the other week that she misses having a tiny one in her arms. My son says that he is too old (40) to be having more kids. We'll just have to wait to see who wins this debate.
